This hit really close to home. I have struggled with loneliness this year, and it started with a broken friendship. I cried every day for over three months and it was so much better to be alone than it was to be with people and still not have that need satisfied. Being around people was like watching a feast through a glass wall with no door. Prayer was the only thing that brought me through, God helped me to mourn the loss of that friendship and He prodded me to lead a Bible study. That Bible study did so much to ease that loneliness. As we delved into God's word, it was easy to open up and share our difficulties with one another. I still feel lonely sometimes, but He's still working on me.
