Love doesn't always come naturally. There are days when due to circumstances, love is far from what I am feeling towards my spouse or my children; however, love is still what God requires of me, and with love is how I need to respond to them. This Valentine's Day I chose to come up write down one thing I loved about my husband for every week of the upcoming year. It was easy at first, but as my list got longer, it became more difficult. I had 46 items and only needed a few more to complete my list. I read Mary's entry and was reminded that I needed to choose to love the things about my husband that weren't so easy to love, so I completed my list with items such as "I choose to love you even though you ..." My husband loves Reisen candies, so I am going to wrap a Reisen in each of these reasons I love him and give them to him for Valentines Day.
