Marlo,

All of the Video Book Blogs are available on the website, however, there is not one central location where they are all on one page. Each video can be downloaded to a CD and then played off of any computer. Hope this helps.

Mary,

Thank you for your ministry! I miss my days at SBTS...my husband graduated in 2000 before you were there. I would love to be able to meet you one day in person. :)

I am going to being teaching a small group study on Girls Gone Wild this fall at my church. I have downloaded the leader guide and have begun reading the book, but I want to know what is the best way to allow the ladies to view your 5 minute video blogs as we begin each session. The room in which we'll meet doesn't have internet access. Do you have a link to all of the video blogs that I may download to one CD to take it to class?

Help!!! I am not sure how to approach the situation. I am a mentor for a 19 yr old christian college student. She has been "marriage" dating the youth leader for 8 months. I define "marriage" dating as dating with the full obscession & intent of marriage. They were not friends prior and he was actually her leader for one year. They started talking about marriage from the beginning. Both had just gotten out of relationships prior to getting together. They think they are completely ready to marry and have for the last 8 months have not left each others side for a moment. I have spoken in length to them about their physical intimacy & their rush to the alter. My concern now is the inappropiate website she has visited. Did I mention she lives with me. She has now decided to learn to striptease and lapdancing thru youtube. Their plans are to marry next spring. She has already purchased a wedding dress and is not engaged. Her family history includes abandonment at 10 by mom, maternal grandma married 13 times, mom married twice & living with boyfriend. I have no idea what to say anymore. I keep pointing her to the bible, but she blows it off stating that since they are going to get married, her actions are permissable. She is also a Jr. high leader. Help!!!!!

Mary,
What does the Bible say about physical fitness? More to the point--I enjoy working out and I like to stay fit, but what is a biblical motive for staying in shape? Have you ever written anything on this topic? In my women's community, from what I observe, most of the young women are motivated by appearance and looking thin and great on the beach. I am unnerved by the amount of talk I hear about calories, inches, and workout comparisons. However, I know the opposite extreme is also wrong. I realize there is a God-honoring balance. When I workout, I want to be motivated by health and stewardship and honoring the Lord with my body--but it's hard to stay focused in a world that shouts appearance above all else. If you have an article that I can print and share with the women in my community I would really appreciate it. I feel like we all (myself included) need to renew our minds in this area.
Thanks!

This material would be fantastic for the class you have the opportunity to teach!!! What a wonderful window of opportunity. The video book blog is short enough to capture their attention without being too long, and will whet their appetites for the chapter to be read and discussed. If you have the ability to project from the laptop onto a screen or white board it would work even better, but the three laptops should serve your students just fine. I am checking with the publisher regarding a volume discount and will let you know once I hear from them. Thanks so much for your heart of service and for your interest in Mary and her ministry.
